MEININGER Hotel Innsbruck Zentrum

We spent several nights at this hotel and highly recommend it. The price was very good verse other hotels and expected it not to be as good as it was. The hotel was renovated 2 years ago and it really shows great mix of contemporary and bright colours everything was clean and good branded items used. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a triple room which had ample space. The bathroom was great too with high end faucets. The location is very close to the centre 10 mins walk to congress. Spar just next door for any shopping requirements.

My only place to stay whenever I come to Innsbruck. First of all it's a nicely located hotel, having a supermarket around the corner and all needed bus stops to depart for skiing (Stop Finanzamt for Kuhtai, Axamer). Also, once you exit the door, there will be a perfect mountain view just around the corner. Secondly, its a very compfortable hotel, with nicely designed lobby and rooms. I always atay in 4-bed room and felt like in hotel (maybe because rooms were never filled fully). Super clean toilets and everyday cleaning service in rooms. There is a kitchen in lobby where you can find kettle, fridge, micro owen and stove to cook for your convenience. Also there you can find washing machines. Its important to mention, they have a luggage and a ski equipment room, with heaters for boots. Very thoughtful. And last: staff is the best. Fast in responses online, always smiling, friendly and ready to help. They would never miss any question of yours. Music at lobby - top rated! 😍 One of not many places where I can't find any cons ;)

Great base for looking around Innsbruck, easy to walk to most places of interest. Rooms are basic but clean and warm. Shower is good and plenty of towels. Communal kitchen has everything you need. There's no kettle in the room but we made coffee in the kitchen and took them to the room . There's a spar shop right next to it and a Chinese takeaway across the road called wok to go with good food at good prices. Taxi to the airport is around 15 euros Buy the Innsbruck card for free entry to many attractions and public transport, one trip up the mountain and back on the cable car.
